Storage Add-Ons

Pick your site and unit on the booking page and the available add-ons appear before payment. Tick what you want, and it is charged with your first month on the same invoice.

R150. It is the most common add-on because you lock your own unit, and it saves a stop at a hardware shop on moving day. Available at Maitland, Paarden Eiland, Woodstock and on Johannesburg valet orders.

R250 each, and you can add up to ten. They lift boxes and furniture off the floor and give you a tidy base to stack against, which makes a packed unit much easier to get back into. Available at Maitland, Paarden Eiland and Woodstock.

R450 per person. You are booking a team member to help you load, shift and stack while you are at the site. If you have a lot to move, add more than one. Available at Maitland, Paarden Eiland and Woodstock.

On Johannesburg valet orders, yes. A Boxman moving box is R95, and bubble wrap is R80 an item, which covers both the wrap and the labour to wrap the item properly. They come out with your pod.

It is for storing a single item rather than taking a whole pod — one couch, one fridge, one mattress. R250 an item a month in Johannesburg, R350 an item a month at Maitland, billed monthly like a unit.

We work with moving and packing partners rather than running our own crews for it. Tell us your dates and what needs to move, and we will put you in touch and come back to you on availability and pricing.

At Zone 7, our bike and motocross site. You can put two services a year on a monthly debit order, or ask for a once-off repair, which we quote after our team has looked the bike over. Both are arranged with the team rather than through the online checkout.

Those two sites do not carry add-ons in the online booking flow. Message us before you book and we will tell you what is available at that site.
