We bring pods to your door across Johannesburg and Pretoria and collect them back to our Selby warehouse. Everything shaded on the map is inside our collection area.
Where we collect
The Johannesburg metro out to Krugersdorp, Randfontein, Springs and Heidelberg, and north through Midrand and Centurion to Pretoria. The boundary follows real driving times from Selby, not a circle on a map.

Good to know
- No deposit required. Pay your first month and the signed contract, and the pod is yours.
- Secure your belongings inside the pod. Pods are stacked and moved by forklift. Ask our team if you need help securing your items.
- Arrange cover for your goods. Cape Storit insures the facility, but does not insure belongings stored inside your pod. Please arrange your own contents insurance.
- Pay your way. Pay online by card, by EFT, or set up a debit order.
Ready to book? Reserve online and we'll email your invoice and storage contract. Your reservation is confirmed once we receive payment and the signed contract; unpaid reservations are cancelled after 24 hours.
Don't need it? Store it.
We'll fetch it from you, then deliver it right back to you when you want it most.

Can I access my storage pod at the facility?

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm. Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00pm Outside hours available on request when booking site access.
How are the pods stored?
Pods are stacked and moved by forklift, so please secure your items inside. We can help with this if needed.
How big is each pod?
Each pod is 2m x 1.5m — typically enough for one room of furniture.
Can I store large or loose items?
Yes, large items can be stored separately and are charged per item.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. Cape Storit does not take a deposit at any of our sites. You pay your first month’s rental, sign the storage contract, and move in.
Is insurance provided for the goods stored in my unit?
Cape Storit does not provide insurance coverage for the goods stored inside your unit. While we insure the storage facility itself, it is your responsibility to obtain insurance coverage for your stored belongings. We highly recommend that you secure insurance coverage to protect your goods against potential risks or damage. Please consult with your insurance provider to explore suitable options for insuring your stored items.
How do I pay for my unit?
We offer multiple payment options, including credit card payments online, electronic funds transfer (EFT), or setting up a debit order.
I want to reserve a unit. What are the next steps?
Whatsapp us, or you can complete the online booking process. We’ll email you an invoice and storage contract. Your unit is reserved once we receive payment and the signed contract. If payment isn’t received within 24 hours, the reservation is cancelled.
Is there a minimum commitment?
We offer a flexible month-to-month commitment. Simply provide a two-week notice when you're ready to end your storage agreement.
